Techsmith Camtasia 1 1 0 For Mac

Hey guys, Currently, Camtasia for Mac is running into issues with recording for those who have updated to OSX 10.9. As that was a free update, we expect many of you will be updating. We are working on a fix as we speak, and will be posting here when we have something for you all! As it stands, if you need to record with Camtasia for Mac today, hold off on updating to Mavericks until we get a patch released. Sorry for the inconvenience! With Mavericks (10.9) I was able to record Full Screen with Camtasia 2.5 for about 10 minutes before the recording crashed. Fortunately Camtasia saved the file, intact. I restarted the recorder and continued to record for another 10 minutes until it crashed again. Again, Camtasia was able to save the clip.

The only bummer is not being able to record from my secondary monitor but I'm happy working around that until this bug is fixed. I too jumped too quickly on Mavericks and not only Camtasia is almost kaput; Keynote has been doing all kinds of funny stuff and my mouse is not always reacting like it should. Problems in Camtasia 2.4.0 (cannot use latest 2.5 on Retina' secondary monitor - so switched back to 2.4): - image freezes and does not follow screen which mixes up 2 images together - not pretty - won't allow me to use PinPoint as it totally freezes the screen when recording Can we remove Mavericks until everyone finds ways to fix the bugs and Apple spends a bit more time on making sure that it works on MacBook Pro Retina?
